ParaGenius Foundation

A nonprofit website shaped by community research - designed in Figma following UX/UI best practices, then built in Webflow with the Client First framework, with a clear site architecture, refreshed branding, and content the team can maintain on its own.

Problem

ParaGenius Foundation's website was old and outdated - built on WordPress, with no branding, no proper site architecture, and nothing to hold it together. I came in and redesigned and rebuilt everything from the ground up.

Role & Approach

I was the sole web designer and developer, responsible for site structure, visual direction, and content. I also contributed to branding - recommending logo updates - and helped guide the organization's broader web and creative strategy beyond just the build.

What I built

  • Grounded the site architecture in UX research and community insights rather than a generic nonprofit template
  • Designed the brand identity - choosing the color palette and typography - and recommended logo updates, treating brand and web as one system
  • Designed the full website in Figma following UX/UI best practices, then built it in Webflow with the Client First framework
  • Built CMS-connected components - FAQ questions, the impact section, team members, programs, and more - so the ParaGenius team can update the website from the Webflow CMS without ever touching the front end

Figma Design

The full website design I created in Figma, following UX/UI best practices and the findings from our community research, before building it in Webflow.

Result

A modern, full CMS nonprofit website that the organization can maintain and grow on its own - and that finally does justice to its mission, giving ParaGenius Foundation a home online that reflects the work it does.
