I've spent most of my career as the technical department nonprofits don't have budget to hire - the person who builds the site, runs the fundraising, and picks up whatever else the mission actually needs. That's meant working close to the people running these organizations, not just shipping a deliverable and leaving.

Sisters of St. Joseph

My title at Sisters of St. Joseph was Website Manager, but that title undersold the job. I was the organization's primary technical support for its WordPress website, with donation forms powered by Blackbaud Raiser's Edge - giving pages that had to work correctly, not just look right. I managed their Constant Contact email program and social presence out of the Communications Office. And I designed and developed three separate program sites - the Long Island Immigration Clinic, the Legacy Fund, and Spirit Alive - each working directly with the program director who ran it. I built them myself in WordPress with Blackbaud's drag-and-drop editor, often writing HTML and CSS for smaller styling jobs.

I also designed and built the website for their fourth program, CSJ Learning Connection, on a freelance contract. Before designing anything, I did community research - talking with the program's students, teachers, and donors about what they needed from the site, then testing a prototype with them. The final site was built on Webflow as its own standalone platform, with a modern design, animations, a language switcher, and a Raisely donation form I implemented.

Cat Connections NYC

I founded Cat Connections NYC, an Astoria-based cat rescue, and built its digital presence from nothing - a real home online where the organization could showcase adoptable and adopted cats, tell its story, and actually convert visitors into donors and volunteers, not just describe the mission.

As founder, I served as technical lead, fundraising director, and social media manager, owning the website end to end alongside branding, social media, and fundraising strategy. I built the site on Webflow CMS with a structured content model so adoptable cats, campaigns, and impact stories could be updated without a developer.

On the fundraising side, I ran campaigns across multiple platforms at once - Raisely, Zeffy, GoFundMe, Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook - rather than relying on a single channel, including community-driven posts on Reddit, a channel most nonprofit sites ignore entirely. That effort raised $18,000 in five months, including a Fidelity Corporate Giving match.

Freelance Nonprofit Clients

Alongside my full-time work, I consulted, designed (often in Figma), and built websites for nonprofits directly, using WordPress or Webflow depending on what each organization actually needed. That work included CSJ Learning Connection, ParaGenius Foundation, Sean Hanna Foundation, and Uptown & Booggie.

Where I'm headed

I hope to bring my skills to a nonprofit dedicated to animal welfare. Animals have always been my biggest passion - it's why I built Wildari Planet, a passion project about wildlife, and why I founded and ran my own small cat rescue, Cat Connections NYC.

That hasn't stopped. In my free time, I still foster and volunteer with Habitant Cats of New York, a local cat rescue.
